ARTETERNA Allegories |
|
The allegory is a work of art, that through metaphors and symbols
tells us a story. There is always a moral to that story. An allegory
teaches us about life and uncovers its mysteries. The inner world,
our psyche, and the forces of the spiritual world are given form and
can therefor be related to us. The allegory serves as a means of integration
between the microcosm that we are and the macrocosm of the world in
which we live. It is a channel for both. And through it we can reflect
on ourselves and the universe.
Michael Fuchs on "The Allegory" Michael Fuchs allegories challenge me to look inward and explore my inner self. His work challenges me not only to examine who I am, but how I relate to the world around me.
